Bio

Cassandra Hooper is a New York based artist whose prints, books and collaborative projects have been placed in the collections of the Harvard College Library, The Whitney Museum of American Art, The Walker Museum, The Museum of Contemporary Art, Albrect-Kemper Museum of Art, Zuckerman Museum of Art, and the Nelson Atkins Museum and they have been exhibited nationally and internationally in cities and countries, including New York, Philadelphia, Seattle, Cuba, Italy, France, South Korea and China. Recent awards and residencies include: Institute for Electronic Arts at Alfred University, Frans Masereel Centrum in Belgium and the Art in Print, Prix de Print. Hooper received her BFA from California State University at Long Beach and her MFA from Purchase College, SUNY, where she is currently a Professor of Printmaking.
